Bloomers! Non-Profit FAQ
What is Bloomers! Non-Profit?
Bloomers! Schoolyard Inc. is a 501c3 charitable organization whose mission is to teach and inspire early learners in a school setting to grow their own food, eat vegetables and live a more sustainable lifestyle. As we sold our Bloomers! Schoolyard program into wealthier schools and were also able to get corporate sponsors to pay for programs, it became obvious to us that coporate sponsors were not as interested in sponsoring lower income schools. So we decided to do something about it and start our non-profit.

What is School Spirit Pays?
If you are a business that processes credit cards (and most do!), you can use School Spirit Pays as your processor, they will meet whatever price you are currently paying for your credit card processing, and donate 25% of the fees to Bloomers1 Schoolyard Non-Profit to implement gardens in a local school. When your business uses School Spirit Pays to process credit cards, it becomes part of team that is visibly and noticeably helping create funding for schools. They appreciate and promote these relationships, as do their foundations, parents, educators, community volunteers and students. It is a win-win for everyone.
